Founded in Antwerp in 1986, Dries Van Noten is one of the most authentic, differentiated and successful independent designer fashion houses. Van Noten's Flemish heritage and Rubenesque sense of fading and dazzling colors are deeply intertwined into the brand's iconic, highly-acclaimed and coherent aesthetic - recognized for its artistry in color, all-embracing fabric combinations, creative prints and embroideries, skilled layering and impeccable craftsmanship.

The Dries Van Noten brand is one of the most vibrant heritage luxury fashion brands, with a unique DNA and significant opportunity to further accelerate growth.

On June 14, 2018, Dries Van Noten announced its strategic partnership with Puig, the Barcelona-based, family-owned fashion and fragrance company.  With global sales of approximately €2 billion, Puig owns venerable fashion houses including Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Paco Rabanne and Jean-Paul Gaultier.

Puig will be the majority owner alongside Dries Van Noten, who will remain a significant minority shareholder and will continue in his role as Chief Creative Officer and Chairman of the Board.
